PRONK is entirely volunteer-run street band festival that takes place in Providence every fall, in the spirit of the Boston-based HONK! PRONK! is a day-long celebration of music and community activism held on Indigenous People's Day (aka "Columbus Day") as a powerful and bold statement of solidarity with those whose voices have been silenced by political or social circumstances.

PRONK!'s motto is "Reclaim the streets with brass, beats, and feet" and this year's theme is "This Land is Your Land" in honor of the 100th anniversary of songwriter and activist Woody Guthrie's birth. Joining us at PRONK! are youth musicians and singers from several local schools as well as 200+ PRONK! musicians.
