Balcony Banter

The balcony next door is like a microphone to the voices of the neighbors. I run my fan to make white noise so I can read and write uninterrupted. It works. I also unplug my phone. Sounds of the city are good. I truly love urban living. I need to feel the energy of other people near me since I am alone 12 hours a day.
