I love to set things up in my kitchen and then go about my day. Today I am simmering chick peas and marinating pork chops and incubating sourdough. I'm not sure if it's my Jewish food panic that I inherited from my Brighton Beach grandparents or it's from barely surviving three recessions as a freelance artist but I am always thinking about my next meal.
