New Mother Full Moon

Yesterday after jury duty I walked around with Romeo. I bumped into everyone in the library parking lot. Romeo was smothered with pats and hugs by our lovely lady librarians. Romeo is already a literary dog. He is so smart and he wrinkles his forehead when he is listening.

My friends Jo-Ann and Robert who train Labradors for the blind happened to show up and they gave me a few pointers on how to counter Romeo's pulling. "Turn and look away when he pulls making your body the anchor for the leash." The method worked when I tried it a few times after Romeo's supper.

I have the new mother excitement and have awakened at 2 AM the past few nights. Romeo is sound asleep not even waking when I take a shower or wash the dishes. He needs his beauty sleep anyway. I will need mine too.
