All About a Hole in the World (Richard Rhodes)

Rhodes talks about his memoir, "Hole in the World," based on his abusive and unhappy childhood at the hands of a cruel step-mother. From his account of how he grew up with a view of the "world with a hole" in it, he concludes that the world is both fatal and life-giving.
