Teaching a Friend

Today at noon Bill and I gave our drummer Steve a bread-baking lesson in our kitchen. Like Julia Child I had prepped the dough a few days in advance so I could show him what it would look like after time has elapsed. We shaped the dough that I had prepared and set it up in greased pans in a warm oven to rise. Then we mixed up more dough for him to bake at home. When the bread we shaped rose we baked it. When it was done we sat down and had homemade meatballs and tomato sauce with fresh bread at the table.
