Dream

I dreamed I had rented three apartments for stray cats, kittens, and a puppy. I would go by every day and feed them and give them water and walk the dog. This took most of the day. I rolled over and dreamed this dream three times this morning. A one night recurring dream.

When I woke up I remembered my Grandfather's sister, Aunt Gloria who gave me my first cat, Midnight. My grandmother told me Aunt Gloria scoured the newspapers for stray cats she could adopt, and would adopt them. When I was 11 she was found dead, emaciated, in an apartment with her cats.
