The other night at the Stop and Shop checkout a short bubbly buxom cashier was talking to the person in front of me about how her mother phones her four times a day and she can't talk. "I'm either working or with my three kids. She calls and I say,
I can't talk mom, here, talk to the kids," and she hands Grandma in cell-phone form to her kids. "They put the phone into their toy trucks and drive Grandma around while she's yakking away, she doesn't even notice! She just has to talk, she doesn't need to listen."
