TaiChi and LokHup

Our Logo

The traditional tai chi yin-yang symbol appears to rotate clockwise but Master Moy chose to show it rotating counter-clockwise, symbolizing that his tai chi can reverse the natural aging process.

We also chose the Yi Ching hexagram (six lines) symbol of T’ai representing harmony, peace and goodwill, because it embodies the spirit of our organization.

A hexagram is composed of two trigrams, each made up of three lines, solid, broken or both combined. In this hexagram, the upper trigram (three-lines) represents Earth (pure yin), and the lower trigram represents Heaven (pure Yang), The light, heavenly Yang energy below tends to rise while the heavy, earthly Yin energy above tends to sink. As the two energies meet and commune with one another, peace and harmony are achieved and great accomplishments become possible.
