More on Ros Limbo
I’m a Namibian-Cameroonian born in Otjiwarongo, and raised in Namibia’s capital Windhoek. I am a dreamer, a spiritual cheerleader and can be slightly more emotional than the average individual.
I began blogging in 2014 when I was diagnosed with severe depression. Writing created a means of escape; a reality where I was free and happy. It was then that I realized that this young lady that has kept journals since the age of 12 has always wanted to be a writer. More specifically, a writer that changed lives for the better.
And so I continue to pour blood, sweat and fairy dust into this blog, so that it can continue to be a safe haven for those that feel a little defeated by the world. This blog services as a reminder that you are not alone in your experience, and that your darkness should only serve as a reminder of the abundant light you possess.
This is a blog for dreamers and world changers.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
