I made corn chowder last night in my large pressure cooker and it was ready in five minutes. My band mates loved it. I will do it again. I served it with my fresh baked sourdough bread. I like a simple friendly supper. My band mates travel from work and by the time they get here they are hungry and tired, and we are too. The recipe was simple: chicken broth, frozen corn, cubed potatoes, chopped onion, chopped red bell pepper (for color) and olive oil salt and pepper and chopped fresh garlic. I brought the soup to pressure for 5 minutes and caught it just as the milk was foaming through the top, and I cooled it under cold water. It was an excellent soup! We are bonded from sharing supper and we play better.
