By walking out of a traumatic massacre with so much poise and courage and commitment, the Parkland survivors have already brought change. Overnight, they ended the ridiculous notion you can’t talk about gun control in the aftermath of gun violence. They have transformed our opinion of America’s youth from lazy, entitled snowflakes to engaged, thoughtful citizens worthy of the franchise. For those who have spent the first year of the Trump presidency fearing for the fabric of America, these bright lights bring hope.
