I call my back room my country house. My husband and I hide in here during the midsummer because this tiny room has a huge air conditioner. We slept here the night we moved in 24 years ago on July 4th. The air conditioner was in the wall and working when we moved in. Our two big 80 pound dogs terrified of fireworks set off above and all around us in the park. We slept with them on a single foam mattress on the floor, as the dogs trembled and panted getting dog drool all over us.
