Last Night

Last night someone pulled up in front of the house with the 2 yellow doors and blasted their music. This neighbor has never been one to have this level of noise so after I went out front to see what was up, she noticed me and I just smiled and waved and discreetly shut my front door. But the booming sound streamed in at every window like water gushing into our sinking ship. We started closing all windows. Our house was rattling and vibrating. After about a half hour of hiding in the bedroom with our panting trembling dog, the fan and the air conditioner roaring we still had no peace. My husband phoned the police. I pulled the covers over my head. The police must've shown up because it finally stopped. It was Saturday night at 9PM and I was done.
