Today at the pool Roy admitted he was stunned to learn that a cousin had died and another was on her deathbed. "These were CLOSE COUSINS," he said. "I think that her children rushed her into death because she was on a ventilator."
"Now wait a minute Roy, they wouldn't have put her on it if it wasn't necessary and wouldn't have taken her off it if it wasn't the right thing to do. Don't carry that," I said.
"Sometimes the ventilator makes things worse. I'm sure they did all they could. But be mad that you weren't informed," Tina said.
It's amazing how many discussions we have about grief. We all have a lot to share from experience.
Roy thanked us for talking to him. "That's why we're here, 99 percent social 1 percent swimming," I said laughing. When I looked up I noticed Tina is pregnant! Life goes on.
