I just stubbed my toe sidestepping the box fan. Now I have a bag of frozen spinach on my foot. I stub my toe every summer because like a dog cooling his paws, being barefoot cools me off. I inevitably move too fast navigating the cramped living room. Perhaps I should learn to keep my shoes on.
