September 1st Hedge Trimming

I just trimmed the hedges with the long blade manual snippers out front. I did it for Nancy so they don't scratch her arm coming up the stairs when she holds the railing. I kept going chopping down all of the Quaking Aspen saplings out front. Unplanned inspiration. I have a forest in the side yard.

Bill just started school and I am running the house chores like a maniac. Laundry, laundry, laundry. Making hummus, sweeping, taking recycling and trash to the curb. Bagging the yard waste. 

I'm already exhausted but it's okay. Feels good to change the seasons. I'd better play my saxophone today but first I need a nap.
