In the Middle of the Night

The Putinization of AMERICA is a horrific phenomenon. Unfortunately it's one I see everywhere. The brainwashing is so intense, a seething froth overflowing from people's television sets. Locally the Putinization has been expressed through four particularly aggrieved players on our city council. They decided  that they must take over our city government in the middle of the night. During their term these four folks accomplished nothing except petty vindictive obstruction. They decided that if they didn't get their way, not the people's way, they would fire our Mayor. This power move was based on a poison pill loophole in the city charter. At midnight while most of us were asleep. They voted 3 against 2 for the removal of our Mayor, replacing her with a puppet mayor, one we did not elect. This was supposed to be a punishment yet it has already backfired tremendously. These little Putin spawn will be ousted from office and we'll get our beloved Mayor back. As it should be.
