Darning Socks & Baking on a Cold Day

I just sewed up a hole in the toe of my favorite black polka dotted socks. I was too lazy to go upstairs and get black thread so I sewed the hole and used a black sharpie to dye the white thread black.

The spring birds are chirping. I am roasting raw almonds and they are making popping sounds as the moisture dries out of their skins.

Next I will bake granola and then sweet potato bread. The weather dropped back from 50 to 28 degrees. It's cold but the sun is out. I prefer cold weather. It inspires me to bake.
