It's Raining

It's raining today which is a relief because that means my neighbor Rory won't be out on his porch staring at the sun. He believes it's healing and he's convinced it's safe for the first 8 minutes of sunrise and sunset but he's wrong. He is destroying his retinas. His wife's a nurse but perhaps even she can't tell him not to do that. The most dangerous thing is having an ego so big you can't ever be corrected. Perhaps that's even worse than voluntarily blinding yourself.
