Fifer is involved with visual arts – painting, illustration and ceramics. “Anything hands on,” he says.

And while he’d like to attend an art college, he’s interested, too, in emergency medical services and exploring “ethical taxidermy.”

He’s also been working with other “trans” youths on a documentary film about their lives.

Is he happy at this point in his life?

He is, he told The Breeze.

“It hasn’t been easy, but there’s been an outpouring of support. A lot of people love me and have supported me along the way. I’m really excited to get going and live my life,” he said.
