I took this title from an article about a band leader who mentions that women make great bari sax players!
We are having a sleet and ice storm! And the northern part of the state, where I live, has shut down!! Hurray!!! We finally got one!!
We made buckwheat crepes to celebrate the snow day.
Happy Valentine's Day!! Eat a chocolate!

Never never never celebrate snow. I was in Woonsocket for the Blizzard of 1978. I remember being stranded for five days. Having to shag my Speedway sled two miles to Almacs grocery store to buy bread for my elderly neighbors. I remember the snow trucks sent down from Buffalo, how they backed up to the Falls at Woonsocket and dumped tons and tons of snow into the river. Snow is evil. Speak not its name.
