Vanity or "Senior" High School

Monique owned half a dozen bathing suits and rotated them through the week. After 2 years they were all worn out. She'd get out of the pool every morning at 6:45 AM and ask her friend Beatrice, Can you see my ass? turning her back to Beatrice spreading her butt cheeks, standing on the pool deck.

Beatrice who was raised Orthodox Baptist, wore a long sleeved navy bathing suit & matching long swim shorts, would always say, Yes you can, and Monique would go home and drop her suit in the discard pile. 

Then there was Trish pushing 70 who saw herself as permanently sixteen flirting with every male lifeguard and swimmer. She loved to wear her suit way past the expiration date, until you could see her areolas through the translucent fabric. After swimming she'd shower on the pool deck facing the swimming audience. 

Eloise, an extreme introvert, found these rituals extremely tiresome, rude, and annoying. She decided it was time to switch pools.
