Harvest Moon

The Moon woke me up at 2AM! I stayed in bed thinking and when I finally got up and took my shower at 3:30 Romeo was still sleeping. I've never had a dog that slept late. When my husband got up at 4 AM he let Romeo out and he was sleepy and a little sore from our big day of walking pulling. We were out for three hours in the morning and four hours in the afternoon. We covered my usual miles with numerous social visits along the way. EVERYONE was excited to meet ROMEO. He is full steam right now chewing on his monster Nylabone. He wags his tale and loves everyone. He is beginning to settle in. Yesterday I heard his first bark and it wasn't even a bark!

He LOVES tennis balls and all balls. He was gaga over a ball leaning against the fence in the schoolyard behind the YMCA. Just like Honey he is focused on balls. He'd rather chase a ball than a stick any day. He has jaws of steel and demolished a softball in 30 seconds. The tennis balls and Nylabones are number one toys.

The 3 new kids who wanted to meet Romeo last night told me about jelly beans with weird flavors. There's these special beans that are unkonwn and some are like puke!

Romeo thought my sweatshirt was a dead animal. He does key into fabric! We have lots of rescued furniture with draped fabric to improve it.
