Six Dollar Therapy: The Laundromat
Since our beloved washing machine broke down I've been going to the local LOADS of FUN laundromat. I am quite fond of the place and I will miss it when my machine gets fixed. Today the gigantic washing machine was available, the one that holds fifty pounds of laundry. I was thrilled. After dumping my clothes in I realized there was room for more so I took off my denim barn coat and remembered to empty the pockets (dog treats and poop bags) and tossed her in. Then I added the heavy sweatshirt I was wearing and my orange fleece scarf and started her up. This one washed for 38 minutes. I watched and listened and when it was time to leave I felt the therapeutic effect of having clean clothes. Not a bad price for therapy I thought, loading the clothes into the car.
