Rice: The Global Staple

We buy the largest bag of rice we can carry out of PRICERITE and I store it in a glass jar with a wooden top sealed with a rubber gasket. This glass jar of rice serves as a comforting end table in my living room.

I love to make rice in my electric generic instant pot pressure cooker. I just rinse it and salt it and add a bit of water and set the timer for rice: 6 minutes. I can then walk away and take charge of the other aspects of my dinner.
