Headache Neurosis

Do you have a headache now?
No but yesterday I had one for 6 hours.
I thought if I drank lots of water I wouldn't get one.
Then I took 2 Ibuprophen and it didn't help.
Normally I take 1 generic Excedrin and it works.
But I was in pain so my IQ dropped
and then I was worried that I'd be kept awake at night from the caffeine.

Today I am afraid of getting another headache.
I'm afraid that if the air conditioner caused it, it will happen again.
Maybe marching in a 3 mile parade in the 85 degree heat caused it, my husband said.
I smiled.
If it was the AC, I am afraid of getting a headache when we drive up to see Sue, in a week.
I am afraid of all of the future headaches for the rest of my life!
I laughed.
