Things are Not Always as They Seem

Our butcher's wife accidentally locked herself in the walk-in fridge when she stopped by to grab some meat for dinner. It was a Monday when the shop is normally closed.

The butcher reported to police that his wife was missing. An all points bulletin went out. They searched the city and Cape Cod where they have a summer house. Nothing turned up. The police began to suspect the husband of foul play.

Meanwhile the butcher's wife who is 90 pounds soaking wet, was doing jumping jacks so she wouldn't freeze to death. She was eventually discovered the following morning when the butcher shop employees reported to work. The butcher's wife went right to work at her job as a librarian.

Now this scenario is taught in police academies as an example of when things go wrong and they are not entirely as they seem.
