Whole Wheat Buttermilk Banana Pancakes

2 cups whole wheat flour

2 and a half Tbsp brown sugar or honey

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon kosher salt, half teaspoon if using regular salt

1 beaten egg

2 cups low-fat buttermilk or diluted yogurt

2 Tbsp corn or veg oil

1 or 2 mashed bananas or sliced apples, berries (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

These are light as a feather and delicious! My dog Romeo thinks they are dog biscuits!
