Being a LOVING Mother

I knew at the age of five I never wanted to become a mother of a human. My mother Sonia Rose taught me a lot by her example of what not to become. But I was LUCKY. I became the mother of frogs, fish, sourdough bread, yogurt, granola, paintings, poems, tomato sauce, basil plants, my accordion and saxophone, my house. I am the mother of my dog and cat. I am learning how to be the kind, patient, and loving mother to my neighborhood and city and my 54 year old self. Thanks to Grandma Sophie I knew where to begin, with LOVE.
