A Slow Leak

I pumped up my tire again and drove 2 miles with Lily to get my leaky tire looked at by my mechanic. My tire was on her best behavior and wouldn't reveal her leak to him.

She knows she's at the Dr.'s, I laughed. I can leave the car.

No. I won't let you walk home with the crazy nuts out there. And the sidewalks are not shoveled. I can take the tire off and check it. Come back Wednesday same time. It will be a nice day. Remember the woman who got hit by a plow in front of her house last year? They found the guy six months later. The father heard his son talk about it.

You know when you get a splinter and the body pushes it out? Well this is true for crime. The information eventually comes out, I said.
