We are still the poorest community, skapegoated to a large degree by the rest of the state. Many rich or privileged people feel poverty is contagious. When the governor's and senator's children start overdosing that's when politicians find the money. I don't mean to sound cynical.

This problem is the convergence of our denial: it's about class, race and corporate greed Big Pharma America.

More people have to get angry and speak out about the O/D problem so it will become a priority issue.
