Brownies using Bananas

The brownies came out even better!
 For folks with gallbladder sensitivity a dessert that is not overly rich.

Ready In: 40 mins

Serves: 16

Ingredients

  • 1  cup sugar (or 4 overripe pureed bananas)
  • 34 cup (whole wheat flour)
  • 12 cup dark cocoa or melted baking chocolate
  • 2  eggs (optional) or flax eggs
  • 14 teaspoon  baking soda
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 23 cup yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  •  nonstick cooking spray

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients.
  3. Add yogurt and mix well.
  4. Batter will be very thick.
  5. Spray an 8x8 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  6. Spread batter evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Remove and cool.
  9. Dip a knife in warm water and cut into 16 squares.
