Light of Day

Paint, draw, sing, play, preach, educate; now is the time to shine our inner light so bright the sun will be jealous. 

Be a rebel, a freedom fighter, a stand up for those in need. For now we must teach, inform, educate; in private, in whispers.

 

Because now is the time for us to encourage all like minded to stand up tall and stop sitting down.

Now must be the time before the patriotic traitors turn us into prisoners of our own morality.

 

We are losing our rights to live with an open mind, to learn what is new, to embrace science and facts and live in the light, and not the darkness of lies and despair.

 

Closed minds, closed schools, closed institutions lead to the loss of ourselves. We are close to saying goodbye to all that is good, fair, decent.

 

Paint, draw, sing, play, preach, educate. Be vocal, be aware and do not be afraid.

 

Courage will return us to the light of day where fear and whispers will no longer be needed.

 

This must be done for us all to be able to shine so bright the sun will be jealous.
