Staying Warm

This morning I baked batch of granola. The oven warmed the kitchen and it smells good. Today I've closed off the drafty outer rooms to conserve heat. It's cold and windy outside. My house is now a creature having a fight or flight response. "Increased blood (heat) flow to the muscles (rooms) activated by diverting blood (heat) flow from other parts of the body (house)."
