Remembering Tracy

Tracy Walsh, 39, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary Walsh.

A 1999 graduate of Toll Gate HS in Warwick, RI, she was a talented athlete and competed in varsity tennis and volleyball while in high school which culminated in two volleyball state championships. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from Providence College in 2003. A four year cancer survivor, and nine years of alcohol sobriety, Tracy’s perseverance was incredible and she was an inspiration to many. She was an avid reader, pet lover, and beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. She had a beautiful smile, an infectious laugh, and a wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by her father, Edward J. Walsh of Wakefield, RI; her two older brothers, Edward J. Walsh, Jr. of East Greenwich, RI and James Walsh of Medfield, MA; her sisters-in-law Kim (Pantos) Walsh of East Greenwich, RI and Abby (Reidy) Walsh of Medfield, MA; and ten nieces and nephews whom she adored: Sarah (12), Alison (10), James (10), Flynn (9), Clare (8), Luke (7), Maeve (6), Mary (5), Grace (4), Kolbe (2).

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 at St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. There will be a viewing at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Her burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Please note that church seating is limited and face masks are respectfully required.
