5:30 AM Sunday Morning

Nicole, the absentee slumlord who owns the building next door, has tried to remain a mystery as to her REAL name and address. When the city tax bills were sent it was uncovered that she was not a resident of the 3 family house even though it was in the terms of her mortgage and understood to be true by the city. The mortgage (mill) "company" that gave her the mortgage is located in Chicago. Nowhere near the property.

 

When her tenants need her she claims that she's been overseas. Yet when they are a day late with rent she threatens eviction. 

 

She refuses to give them leases and makes her tenants pay by Venmo. 

 

The whole thing smells of money laundering or drugs. She has a criminal record. The city has hauled her into court. She finally had the crumbled cement stairs repaired so the three families don't risk breaking their heads. 

 

Update: 5:30 AM Sunday morning. WHIZZZZZZZZZZZ WHIZZZZZZZZZZZZZ BAM BAM WHAM. Concrete stairs repair man. Really? I hear my neighbors, shouting out their open windows SHUT UP! And the police are now here. AMEN!
