Rain was Promised

It was our mistake. Bill walked out without closing the door. Luckily the glass reflects light so nobody including us could see the door was open. Luckily everything. We were gone two hours. Our neighbors have done this 2x and both times since I didn't know them, I phoned the police and the police showed up and called the neighbors and locked up.

I like a neighborhood where we are allowed human error once in a while. When we first bought the house I was driving an old blue Chevy truck and I accidentally left my house keys sitting on the tailgate OVERNIGHT!

This is our 27th anniversary of owning our house. Yesterday Bill was in a panic about finding white pants since he's giving our guest cymbal player his pants.  Both Walmarts Bellingham and North Smithfield said yes we have them but they didn't. Bill rarely panics but he was panicked.

I googled Woonsocket uniforms and WALT'S clothing (our favorite store!) came up. Which further proves that we can't think in a panic. Over the phone they said they just got a shipment of Bill's size. Cotton Dickies painter pants for the same price as Walmart. He got to try them on and found a perfect fit and we bought 2 pairs. We love the people who work there and we had a visit with them and their weensy 2 pound Yorkie named Brutus.
