Along the Pond

Last night when Bill got home I said "I miss walking along the pond." So we drove to Saint Theresa's and walked from there. We ran into everyone we know. Angela and Troy were out. They have built and painted an amazing playhouse for their kids. It had a red roof and a miniature purple couch and little windows that open with flowered curtains that Angela sewed and a little kitchen. It even has a mailbox which her son checks every day. I must write him a letter! At the pond the sweet couple with the apple tree invited us into their cozy yard for a glass of wine. We accepted and it was magical to chat. We could see the water from under their tree. Lily ate all of the fallen apples and Pepper the dog came over twice to visit. The family that is moving away has painted their house gray. It is no longer oxblood red. I still hope they stay. I love them.
