Painting Outside
I credit my dogs for turning me into a fresh air freak. I use volatile chemicals in my work (turpentine and oil paint) and I crave fresh air. Recently it occurred to me that I could set up my art stdio in my backyard. It has gorgeous light and faces north. My jungle of quaking Aspen, Mulberry, Lilac and Japanese Maple, provide a perfect solitude in the city.
