The Boot
My doctor decided to X-ray my foot after seeing it today. It turns out that I broke it in three places. I consider myself very lucky considering how much worse it could have been. I can still walk Lily S-L-O-W-L-Y and swim gently like I did earlier today. The orthopedic surgeon gave me a big black boot to wear and he'll check my foot in a month.

I am sad to hear that you broke your foot. A colleague bumped his head on a low doorway frame today and got a concussion. Maybe we should just all stay still for a while? Feel better Em. I will be thinking about you and your sore foot.
