Spokes of a Wheel: Rejoicing in Diversity

I was born in Manhattan, but whisked off to the suburbs. In my proximity to the city I was exposed to faces music and cultures of the world. I feel very lucky thanks to my step father, that we were exposed to food and music of the world. As I said to my neighbor Serge while we were shoveling out yesterday, I feel all religions and foods of the world are spokes of a wheel pointing to a common center. Why aren't we rejoicing the diversity of our journey?
