Windy Day Swim

We drove to the river today and I jumped in. My husband had packed his lunch and sat on dry land to eat. The water was cold but not as cold as I expected with the cool breeze. The top 6" of water was warm from the sun. I swam around and a big white swan came towards me. I turned around in the water and the swan did the same. I moved out towards the deeper water and so did the swan. We danced together. At one point I swam towards the swan and she swam away. My husband finished his peanut butter sandwich, apple and thermos of hot coffee. It was time to go home.
