Whole Wheat Pancakes

We just made these and they were perfect!

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (5 ounces by weight)
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 teaspoon of Kosher salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp oil, margarine or melted butter
  • butter for greasing the griddle
