The Jealous

When I was a child what struck me most about Cinderella was the behavior of Cinderella's jealous  sisters. In the Ralph Manheim's Grimm's it was even better. The jealous sisters cut off their toes to fit in the shoes so Prince Charming would pick them over Cinderella. This is archetypal and real. I reread these folk tales to this day.
