I admired Murphy's green shirt. "It's moisture-wicking," he said. "The boys don't want to wear this, they want the skin tight shirts that cost eight dollars more."
"Let 'em have it, they work hard for their muscles," I said, remembering that Murphy's son and the other pump boy are both weight lifters in their 20's.
"How was your vacation?" I asked.
"It was great! We went to the beach and did nothing and the weather was perfect all week. I wanted to call my son and say I'm going to stay another few days but the forecast was 3 days of rain, so we came back home."
