It's interesting to see the imposter President rewriting history, eliminating articles of the constitution, destroying healthcare, and on and on. It boils my blood. But this is exactly what my mother and sister have done with rewriting the family lore. Then it gets passed down to the next generation as fact.
I like to reassure myself with the folktale of the the truth-telling tree. It gets cut down because of it, but the grass grows and whispers the story. Everyone is trying to bury the truth, but it's the authentic one who hears the whisper. In other words it's not over yet.
The scapegoat is often the smartest, most honest, and most beautiful one. The one who takes many dangerous journeys to find the truth, even if it means abandoning others to get there.
