Stunted Growth a form of Sibling Footbinding

It astonishes me, the stories I've heard of accomplished artists and their siblings who refuse to acknowledge them. An actor I know had a brother come back stage minutes before a performance, he wanted to talk with his brother about something important. "I've gotta go, I'm due on stage in three seconds."
Another friend an accomplished author has his sibling try to disprove the content of his books. The stories are numerous. I can only imagine the sibling feels betrayed. You left me behind, you went on and found and built a life!
