When I was a kid I read the Mrs Pepperpot books and I wanted to live in an upside down house just like hers.
My dream came true!
My living room ceiling is held up by a 2x4, my Dr. Seuss plant is the size of a dinosaur. There's a model of the human brain on the bookshelf. And there's a lawnmower under my kitchen table.
To love me means accepting that my home is not an advertisement for House and Garden never aspires to be.
