Classism

It's a taboo to talk about classism in this society. So naturally I'm eager to open that door.

I tend to see food as a theme in my life. The way people talk about or engage in food is extraordinarily classist. It astounds me the way basic foods are demonized. I want to say "have you ever been hungry, poor, broke?" There is nothing wrong with rice, potatoes, beans, bread...
